The food was very good and the service was excellent. Very attentive and helpful. We had to wait about 10 minutes or so to get seated but that was fine. We enjoyed shopping while we waited. Overall a great evening. Thank you for good food and a great atmosphere. Very relaxing after a busy day.
BUT, however, the service here was superb! Tamla is a prime example of what customer service should be like in any sort of industry (retail, dining, hospitality)! She alone made this visit five star-worthy! She along with Beth assisted our party of 30 people quickly and efficiently!
After an "Eh" experience the first time, we decided to give it another shot while family was visiting last night. We had absolutely terrible experience. After being seated, it took several minutes before anyone came to get our drink order, and longer before we had our food order taken. Halfway through the long food wait, we were all out of drinks but never once got a refill. Once the food was delivered, we asked for drinks and also realized that a few things were actually missing and asked for those as well. Waitress said she would be back with them but never did come back, instead going to a few other tables and then disappearing into the back. Realized our silverware had bits of food and had to go to the cashier to get new ones since the waitress was gone. Didn't get our missing food items or refills until we were nearly done with the meal - and that was only because we finally found someone else to ask! I've waitressed in the past and am usually understanding, but it wasn't busy at all and while the food was pretty good, the service was absolutely terrible. Will definitely not be returning.
Also, the restaurant is clean and presentable. Don't let my negative opinion of the food deter you from visiting here...it's just my personal opinion.
This is a go to spot. Home style food. Variety of food. Everyone should be happy. Cute country store. Nice selection of clothing items too. When I'm looking for gifts a good spot
I love Cracker Barrel and had always like everything I've ordered until I went to this location. There was something wrong with every order we made. My friend got something other than what she ordered. Most of the food was cold. My okra was hard like if it had been under a heating lamp for a long time. They returned the money for one of the meals but had to pay for the other 2.
Not going to lie. I really don't care for the food here. It's edible, and yes, I've experienced worse elsewhere, but it's just not my kind of style of food.
